“I began riding horses at the age of sixteen after my school allowed you to pick an activity to do for a week release from school. I won a competition whilst I was there that entitled me to a free ride. After that I was hooked and began working at the riding school at weekends for free rides!"
"I eventually had my first horse on loan which was a nutty ex-racehorse and after proving to my parents I was serious about owning a horse and it was not a teenage passing phases I bought my first horse. A second horse quickly came along who proved difficult to control with little schooling so I began dressage training with Patsy Bartram and in three months found myself at the British Dressage National Championships."
"I then went to train at John Lannis and from there gained a place on the under twenty one international show jumping young rider squad which allowed me to compete abroad. It was a great experience especially when I was awarded my Union Jack badge! I worked on the Edgars yard for two years. I am still out competing with my own horses at showjumping as dressage.
I dedicate most of my time to making horses in work as comfortable as possible. I enjoy everyday I work with equines. It is a thrill to use my passion for horses to my equine patients' advantage. I hope that soon all horse owners understand the importance of maintaining their horses' spine and muscles to keep them as well and comfortable as possible."
"I have just begun Eventing and being placed 4th on only my second outing. I always thought the cross country phase would daunt me but as I rode the course I found it easier to settle the rhythm and rode the stride into the water like a bold experienced rider, it felt fantastic. I am now hooked on it, the people are really friendly and I am loving the new challenge."
